- John from Connection (picked up at the Averasboro Museum):
“Very slick! Good design.”
- Oscar Harris: “Professional job; well done! Contains all of the necessary information.”
- WWII Veteran: “Appreciate the emphasis on the flag – patriotism is not so popular now.”
- Rising 4th Grader: “Wake County Yes! This will fit my project just perfect.”
…The mother of the 4th grader had determined the child would be required to do a NC project this year. She located WWII, etc. museums and was visiting as many as possible for information. At the Lee Museum, I got a tour and was supplied with the facts needed for the body of the project. They gave him (the student) a handout of printed materials, post cards, a toy glider, tee shirt and new brochure. He was excited because it would fit the format they had chosen for the project.
He mailed me a hand-made Thank-You card!
